Innhold:

Beginner course for Delphi 2010 (15-16. mars)

This course shows you how to get up to speed with Delphi 2010 quickly. Whether you are a developer that has used other languages and tools, or a old Delphi developer wishing to refresh your mind with the latest technologies, this course is for you.

During the two days, the course will show you the basics of the Delphi 2010 IDE (Integrated Development Environment), the main components for building VCL applications for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7, and how to access SQL databases. You will also learn the basics of the Delphi language, and learn about the different application types that Delphi supports.

If you have used Delphi before, this course will show you the latest IDE and language features.

Database application development with InterBase or SQL Server (17. mars)

In this one-day course, you will learn how to efficiently access SQL databases, using CodeGear InterBase and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 as examples. You will learn the different ways to access these databases, how to write user interfaces for your database applications, and how to handle more advanced topics like filters, locking and transactions.

How to migrate into Unicode (18. mars)

This course shows you how to migrate your older Delphi applications into Delphi 2009/2010. These Delphi versions are fully Unicode-based, which means that all strings, characters and similar data structures suddenly use 16-bit characters. This means that potentially thousands lines of code need to be checked. After this course, you know how to migrate to Unicode with Delphi 2009/2010, and can start the migration work with you own applications.

Web application development with Delphi (19. mars)

During this course, you will learn how to develop modern web applications with Delphi. First, all the possible web application options are discussed, and then the course focuses on ASP.NET web development with Delphi Prism. This course will show you the basics of ASP.NET web application development.
